Trump and Musk are targeting our Social Security – gutting phone services and undermining every American’s ability to access their earned benefits.
Congress must NOT allow any attacks on Social Security to go unaddressed.
Our members of Congress must step up and protect our safety net from Trump and Musk’s hostile takeover.
President Trump and Elon Musk are targeting our Social Security.
That’s right – if Musk gets his way, we’d all have to wait hours in line and fight with confusing online forms just to access our earned benefits. And at worst, he could destroy the program entirely – all to line his pockets and those of his billionaire friends! [1]
To be perfectly clear: if you’re a current Social Security recipient, you don’t need to panic – all payments are still going out as scheduled.
But Trump and Musk are using a tried-and-true playbook: first get people scared about something that isn’t happening (i.e. undocumented people who don’t and can’t collect Social Security getting checks,) then use that fear as a battering ram to slash services and get rich at our expense.
We can’t give a single inch on this one, or they’ll take a mile.
