We make a real difference for democracy.
Common Cause Arizona believes that our government should serve all the people, not just the wealthy or partisan special interests. We are building a democracy that works for everyone.
With the support of our dedicated members, we have shown up time and time again to protect Arizonans’ rights. We will continue to make our government here in Arizona more open, honest, and accountable. Check out some of our most impactful victories:

Mobilizing Election Protection Volunteers
Each election year, Common Cause Arizona mobilizes nonpartisan volunteers across the state to serve as a first line of defense for voters. These volunteers answer voters’ questions at their polling places, make sure that voters know their rights, and report any attempts to intimidate or obstruct voters. This program helps countless Arizonans make themselves heard at the ballot box and helps Common Cause Arizona know what to advocate for at the state legislature.
Stopping Targeted Election Interference
In 2023, partisan politicians in Mohave County pushed a proposal to replace the county’s tested and reliable ballot tabulation machines with hand counting for the 2024 election. Not only is this process outdated and less accurate — but it is also a major waste of taxpayer resources. After more than 1,000 emails to decision-makers from our members, we successfully defeated this attempt to undermine election results.
