Common Cause joined over 80 organizations on Tuesday in asking eBay to drop its membership in the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), a secretive corporate lobbying group.

As Google, Facebook, and Yahoo have all announced that they are cutting ties with ALEC this week, numerous other corporations have confirmed to Common Cause they either have left the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), are reevaluating their membership, or have never been members.
