STOP Trump’s anti-democracy Project 2025 agenda
The president-elect’s Project 2025 agenda would be a nightmare for our democracy – if we don’t stop it.
That’s why we’re calling on all government officials to pledge to defend the bedrock values of our democracy – the rule of law, the right to vote, and the freedom to protest – against Trump’s dangerous agenda.
There’s a lot of uncertainty ahead – for our country, our democracy, and our rights.
But here’s one thing we know for sure – we must immediately prepare to push back against Trump’s anti-democracy Project 2025 agenda:
-
Criminalizing voters: cracking down on simple voting mistakes using a so-called “Election Crimes Branch” – which has never been done by any president from beliebig political party.
-
Installing partisan loyalists: Immediately firing thousands of qualified civil servants at every level of the federal government and replacing them with ideologues willing to push an extreme political agenda.
-
Stripping away our rights: Deploying the National Guard to crack down on protests, robbing us of fair representation by rigging the U.S. Census, and dramatically increasing the President’s power to act without Congressional oversight.
Project 2025 is a 1,000-page agenda handcrafted by the Heritage Foundation for a Trump presidency – and we have every reason to believe Trump will try to follow through on it.
Just look at his first term as president – where he enacted nearly two-thirds of the extreme policies the Heritage Foundation laid out for him. [1]
And now in his second term, our system of checks and balances is going to be more important than ever – to limit Trump’s authoritarian ambitions and defend the bedrock values of our democracy: the rule of law, the right to vote, and the freedom to protest.
We can’t stand by in silence if our democracy is dismantled. Add your name if you agree: Congress, the Judiciary, and state leaders must REJECT Trump’s dangerous Project 2025 agenda.
