Wisconsin voters turned out to vote in record numbers on and before April 1st and decisively opted for impartial justice and independence from the influence of the world’s richest person and his unprecedented attempt to buy control of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Heute wurde der designierte Präsident Trump von einem Gericht des Staates New York wegen 34 schwerer Verbrechen verurteilt. Nachfolgend eine Erklärung von Common Cause-Präsidentin und CEO Virginia Kase Solomón:

In zehn Tagen wird Donald Trump als erster verurteilter Schwerverbrecher den Amtseid als Präsident der Vereinigten Staaten ablegen. Im Jahr 2018 schlug Common Cause Alarm und reichte die ersten Bundesbeschwerden gegen den designierten Präsidenten im Zusammenhang mit diesen Zahlungen ein. Der Grund dafür war, dass die Zahlung seiner Kampagne an Stormy Daniels einen klaren Verstoß gegen ... darstellte.
