Let’s Not Step Backward in Colorado
Colorado is a national leader when it comes to elections. In fact almost everything on the best practices list from the Presidential Commission on Election Administration is the law of the land here. We brought Colorado’s elections into the 21st century last year, and we want to keep it that way. A “time-out” bill (SB14-141) for the new election law is being heard in committee today. It would be a step backward. Elections are finally more consistent for voters and eligible voters no longer need to worry about missing deadlines in order to vote. Let’s keep it that way! We’re urging the members of the Senate State Affairs Committee to Vote No on SB14-141.
