About Us
We work to strengthen and empower the youth vote.
The Alliance for Emerging Power is Common Cause’s youth program hub. It includes our Internship Program, The HBCU Student Action Alliance Democracy Fellowship, youth get out the vote initiatives, and the Democracy Justice League.
We work to build the next generation of democracy leaders by advancing their advocacy and leadership skills, equipping them with the tools to hold power accountable on their campus, their community and beyond, and expand their network to make them lifelong activists.
Support the next generation of civic leaders
Our Impact
We provide the necessary resources to empower young people and allow them to champion movements for change. We recruit, train, and mobilize hundreds of young people each semester, providing tools and resources that help young people engage in politics, and we champion legislation that gives young people equal and fair access to the ballot.
Our internship program
Our interns made great strides to promote democracy and voting rights across the country, putting an emphasis on engaging with states legislatures to become more engaged advocates and organizers in both their local communities and on the national level.
