Our Impact

Our democracy needs the voices of young people.

Together, we are building the next generation of democracy leaders, equipping youth activists with the skills they need to hold power accountable on their campus, in their community, and beyond.

Campus Organizing

Common Cause Democracy Fellows organize across the country by building power to hold their campus and the surrounding communities accountable. Our campus organizing strategy includes advocacy days, voter education programming, voter mobilization efforts, leadership workshops, and voter protection programs.

Lowering the Voting Age

As global threats knock on the doors of our leaders, the generations most impacted are left voiceless. Sixteen and 17-year olds face the consequences of our actions, but lack the enfranchisement to participate in the most crucial elections.
