Nadie está por encima de la ley, incluido Donald Trump.
Pero la peligrosa decisión de la Corte Suprema sobre la inmunidad presidencial pone en riesgo ese principio y va en contra de la rendición de cuentas, el estado de derecho y nuestra Constitución.
El Congreso debe aprobar una enmienda constitucional para declarar permanentemente que ningún estadounidense está por encima de la ley –ni siquiera los expresidentes– y prohibir a los presidentes indultarse a sí mismos.
