Washington — Common Cause, el organismo de control no partidista, publicó su “Cuadro de Indicadores de la Democracia” de 2024, que registra el apoyo de cada miembro del Congreso al derecho al voto, la ética de la Corte Suprema y otras reformas.

Mia Lewis, associate director of the voting rights organization Common Cause Ohio, questioned why the change was needed.

Hoy, Common Cause instó a los Comités Judiciales de la Cámara de Representantes y del Senado a que llamen al juez Clarence Thomas como testigo en las audiencias para examinar la ética de la Corte Suprema a raíz del último escándalo que envuelve al tribunal más importante del país.
