Des groupes populaires de Floride réclament plus de transparence et un accès public aux processus législatifs
Il y a trois semaines, un groupe de plus de 30 organisations de Floride a écrit aux dirigeants législatifs pour les exhorter à « garantir la responsabilité et un processus ouvert, accessible et transparent qui permette une contribution significative du public ». Les politiques auxquelles les organisations s’opposent étant restées en grande partie inchangées, les groupes ont organisé une conférence de presse pour souligner la nécessité de technologies accessibles, de procédures de témoignage public et d’autres méthodes pour garantir que le Parlement offre de nombreuses possibilités de contribution du public.

Three weeks ago, a group of more than 30 Florida organizations wrote to legislative leaders urging them to “ensure that the remaining committee weeks and 2021 legislative session have structures and systems in place to ensure accountability and an open, accessible, and transparent process that allows for meaningful input from the public.”
With the policies the organizations object to remaining largely unchanged, the groups held a media briefing this morning to highlight the need for accessible technology, procedures for public testimony and other methods to ensure that the Legislature provides ample opportunities for public input.
