Группы низовых организаций Флориды призывают к большей прозрачности и доступу общественности к законодательным процессам
Три недели назад группа из более чем 30 организаций Флориды обратилась к лидерам законодательных органов с призывом «обеспечить подотчетность и открытый, доступный и прозрачный процесс, который позволит общественности вносить значимый вклад». Поскольку организации возражают против сохранения в значительной степени неизменной политики, группы провели пресс-конференцию, чтобы подчеркнуть необходимость доступных технологий, процедур для публичных показаний и других методов, гарантирующих, что законодательный орган предоставит широкие возможности для общественного вклада.

Three weeks ago, a group of more than 30 Florida organizations wrote to legislative leaders urging them to “ensure that the remaining committee weeks and 2021 legislative session have structures and systems in place to ensure accountability and an open, accessible, and transparent process that allows for meaningful input from the public.”
With the policies the organizations object to remaining largely unchanged, the groups held a media briefing this morning to highlight the need for accessible technology, procedures for public testimony and other methods to ensure that the Legislature provides ample opportunities for public input.
