Meet Ariana…

Ariana Marmolejo is a Regional Communications Strategist with Common Cause, working to support the organization’s western states in their mission to create an inclusive, multi-racial democracy that works for everyone.

Before joining the Common Cause team, she worked with grassroots civil rights organizations and local political campaigns in California, building political power and promoting economic prosperity in the state’s rural regions by empowering residents to make their voices heard in our democracy. During the 2020 redistricting cycle, she helped organize for fair maps throughout the state at all levels of government.

Ariana is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, and believes that the West Coast is, in fact, the best coast. When she’s not working, you can find her grabbing coffee, practicing Pilates, and spending quality time with her beloved, three-legged cat, Roberto.
