Congress grabs most of the spotlight, but there is more than enough action in state politics.
The 2013 Colorado Generally Assembly began last week. During the next several months our state representatives and state senators will propose and debate hundreds of bills on a wide range of issues.
This is your chance to be heard on the issues you care about.
If you’re a Twitter user or if you’re looking for another way to follow what happens at the Capitol, you can follow the hashtags #COleg et #COpolitics on Twitter to hear what legislators, reporters, advocates and other Coloradans are saying about the state legislature. - Watch the House and Senate conduct business and consider legislation;
- Listen to committee hearings, where bills are first debated and the public has an opportunity to testify.
