ATLANTA — Common Cause Georgia urges voters to take advantage of the final day of early voting, tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 4, after learning of numerous instances where voters haven’t yet received requested absentee ballots.

Common Cause Georgia is concerned about delays in processing absentee voting requests, with 269 “unissued” absentee ballots requests. In addition, the nonpartisan Election Protection Coalition has heard from multiple voters who have reported their absentee ballots never arrived. 

Voters can choose to vote in-person during early voting or on Election Day, even if they requested an absentee ballot. (but did not turn it in).

“More than two million Georgians have already come out to vote and answer the call to be the voice of democracy,” said Aunna Dennis, Common Cause Georgia’s executive director. “But we are hearing some voters that wanted to vote by mail have yet to receive their ballots. Don’t lose out on your chance to make your voice heard, and plan to take advantage of the final day of early voting on Friday or vote in-person on Election Day.”
