On December 5th, 2016 Common Cause Board Chair Robert Reich and President Karen Hobert Flynn joined hundreds of Common Cause members from around the country to discuss our plans for the coming months and years. They addressed plans to make 2017 a year of democratic reform despite the challenges we face including:

• Exposing and stopping any abuse of power by President-elect Trump or any other elected official
• Fixing the broken Electoral College
• Ending partisan gerrymandering
• Employing grassroots organizing effectively to pass pro-democracy reforms at the state and local level like Automatic Voter Registration and public financing of elections
