Greetings, my name is Kennedy Lighty. I am a first-year Political Science Ph.D. student atending the University of Maryland, College Park. I have a focus in American Politics, Race & Ethnic Politics, and Health policy. I currently work with Common Cause Maryland as a legislative intern. I am excited to work with Common Cause this legislative session to help protect and solidify the rights of individuals throughout the great state of Maryland.

I am Asia Stanley, a junior political science major from Baltimore, Maryland . I’m currently a legislative intern with Common Cause Maryland, where I work on advocacy and policy initiatives. Passionate about politics and government, I’m dedicated to promoting civic engagement and legislative reform. In the coming years, I plan to attend law school to further my impact in the field.

‘Yes’ for the Baltimore County Citizens’ Election Fund
Ballot Question A asks whether Baltimore County voters want to establish a Citizens' Election Fund, also known as a fair elections program, in the county. There are four main reasons to vote Yes for A: keep big money out of politics, expand opportunities to run for office, give everyone a voice, and encourage more participation in our democracy.
