Every Vote Matters. Make Sure You Are Registered to Vote in 2024
Article
For the first time in a general election, a mandatory early voting period will begin no later than this Saturday, October 26, 2024, all over Michigan. It will end on Sunday November 3 and hours vary based on your location. To find exact hours, visit mi.gov/vote.
In celebration of this hard-fought voting rights win, Common Cause Michigan is encouraging voters to use early voting to make sure their voice is heard in this critical election. (Note: some locations may already be allowing early in-person voting).
Anyone having issues registering to vote or casting a ballot is encouraged to call or text the nonpartisan 866-OUR-VOTE hotline to have their issues resolved by an expert.
The following numbers are active in the following languages:
ENGLISH: 866-OUR-VOTE 866-687-8683
SPANISH: 888-VE-Y-VOTA 888-839-8682
ASIAN LANGUAGES: 888-API-VOTE 888-274-8683

“Michiganders fought hard for the right to have an early voting period and we must take advantage of it during this critical election. Your vote is your voice, so if you haven’t already voted early, make a plan to do so over the next several days. If you run into problems, call or text 866-OUR-VOTE. Democracy works best when we all participate,” said Quentin Turner, Executive Director of Common Cause Michigan.
