Today, the Supreme Court tossed the corruption conviction of Joseph Percoco, a former top Cuomo aide, Susan Lerner, Executive Director of Common Cause/NY, issued the following the statement in response:

“The Supreme Court’s ruling on the Percoco case sets a terrible precedent that corruption is OK and that bad actors won’t be held accountable for misusing public assets for personal gain. The every day New Yorker knows and sees that as corrupt. Our laws should too.”
