NCVoterGuide.org helps North Carolinians get ready to vote in election 2024

Who’s on your ballot? Common Cause North Carolina makes it easy to find out with NCVoterGuide.org.

While the critically important race for the White House commands much attention, North Carolina voters will also find many more contests on their ballot this year – federal, state, and local offices that will likewise impact our daily lives and shape the future of our state.

In fact, North Carolina has one of the longest ballots in the country, with offices that include:

  • Governor and Council of State
  • Congress and the state Legislature
  • the NC Supreme Court, NC Court of Appeals, and trial courts
  • plus local contests like County Commissioner, Board of Education, and more

To help people get ready to vote, Common Cause NC provides NCVoterGuide.org as a reliable, nonpartisan, and free resource. The site includes:

  • info on checking your voter registration status or registering to vote
  • tools to find early voting sites or your Election Day polling place
  • important links about voting absentee by mail
  • facts on voter ID requirements
  • key dates for this year’s election
  • profiles on candidates up and down the ballot

Since its launch more than 22 years ago, NCVoterGuide.org has helped millions of voters cast a confident ballot. It’s a nonpartisan public service that continues in 2024.

In addition to our online voter guide, Common Cause NC and our pro-democracy partners are distributing hundreds of thousands of print voter guides on college campuses and in communities across the state.

And our team is organizing “Ready to Vote” free public events in small towns and big cities throughout North Carolina to help people understand the voting process and prepare to cast a ballot this fall.
