As U.S. Supreme Court takes up NC elections case of Moore v. Harper this week, press conferences will highlight local voices and perspectives

RALEIGH – North Carolina’s crucial fight over gerrymandering and voting rights will be in the national spotlight this week as the U.S. Supreme Court takes up Moore gegen Harper, a case from the Tar Heel State being called “the gravest threat to American democracy today.” The outcome could have profound ramifications for elections in North Carolina and the entire country.

Common Cause – one of the respondents in Moore gegen Harper – is organizing press conferences in several North Carolina cities this week to provide local voices and perspectives on why this case matters for the people of our state.
