‘Journey for Justice’ marchers come to North Carolina

Dozens of marchers crossed through Hoke County on Monday as “America’s Journey for Justice” made its way into North Carolina, with a voting rights rally scheduled for Thursday at the State Capitol in Raleigh. The march is part of a trek from Selma, Alabama, to Washington, D.C., organized by the NAACP to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act and to call for increased protections at the polls.
