As U.S. Supreme Court takes up NC elections case of Moore v. Harper this week, press conferences will highlight local voices and perspectives

RALEIGH – North Carolina’s crucial fight over gerrymandering and voting rights will be in the national spotlight this week as the U.S. Supreme Court takes up 摩尔诉哈珀, a case from the Tar Heel State being called “the gravest threat to American democracy today.” The outcome could have profound ramifications for elections in North Carolina and the entire country.

Common Cause – one of the respondents in 摩尔诉哈珀 – is organizing press conferences in several North Carolina cities this week to provide local voices and perspectives on why this case matters for the people of our state.

Please see the list of press conferences below. For more information, contact Bryan Warner with Common Cause NC at 919-599-7541 or bwarner@commoncause.org
