Common Cause Ohio Hosts Webinar on Dark Money in Ohio’s Supreme Court Races

Common Cause Ohio and Ohio Fair Courts Alliance hosted a November webinar on dark money in the Ohio Supreme Court races.

During this election season, there was a deluge of dark money. This post-election debrief provides an opportunity to reflect and explore the impact of pervasive and hyperbolic advertisements and wealthy special interests on the state’s highest court.

You can watch the recording.

Remember, you can view the 2024 ads, read the commentary, and follow the money at JudgetheAds.org/the-ads/. If you are interested in historic ads and spending, check out the Brennan Center for Justice’s Buying Time project.

Thank you to our sponsors, Common Cause Ohio, the League of Women Voters of Ohio, Court Accountability, and Indivisible of Central Ohio. A special thank you goes out to our inspiring panelists, Lisa Graves, Evan Vorpahl, Randy Ludlow, and Alan Johnson.
