Common Cause Ohio is encouraging voters who need assistance to contact the nonpartisan Election Protection hotline to make sure their vote counts this year - 866-OUR-VOTE

As Election Day 2024 nears, Common Cause Ohio is encouraging voters who need assistance to contact the nonpartisan Election Protection hotline to make sure their vote counts this year.

The following hotline numbers are active to call or text in the following languages:

ENGLISH: 866-OUR-VOTE 866-687-8683 

SPANISH: 888-VE-Y-VOTA 888-839-8682 

ASIAN LANGUAGES: 888-API-VOTE 888-274-8683 

ARABIC: 844-YALLA-US 844-925-5287

Common Cause Ohio is part of the largest nonpartisan election help program designed to assist voters who have questions or run into any challenges when casting a ballot. Voters who need help finding out how to register to vote or their right polling location, or any other voting issues, can call or text, 866-OUR-VOTE, a toll-free hotline with trained nonpartisan volunteers ready to help. 

All absentee mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Monday, November 4 if they are not already postmarked and returned.

“Your vote is your voice and there is too much on the ballot this year to remain silent. If you have not voted or have had problems voting call or text 866-OUR-VOTE to receive nonpartisan assistance. Make sure your voice is heard this election,” said Catherine Turcer, Executive Director of Common Cause Ohio

Deadline to Register to Vote is Oct. 7

Common Cause Ohio is encouraging voters to check their registration or register to vote at voteohio.gov or in-person at their local county board of election office. The deadline to register is Monday, October 7, and all county boards will stay open until 9 pm to allow folks to be registered.
