Mobilizing Redistricting Reformers
Common Cause Ohio, through our Fair Districts Coalition, is leading the charge to establish a Citizens Redistricting Commission in Ohio, contributing decades of redistricting reform and grassroots mobilization expertise to the Citizens Not Politicians ballot initiative efforts. Our team has recruited, trained, and equipped more than 2,000 volunteers from 45+ counties to collect signatures and ensure the amendment is on the ballot in November 2024.
Training Voter Support Volunteers
Each election year, Common Cause Ohio coordinates nonpartisan volunteers across the state to serve as a first line of defense for voters. These volunteers answer voters’ questions, make sure that voters know their rights, and report any attempts to intimidate or obstruct voters. This program has helped countless Ohioans make themselves heard at the ballot box.
