Group reminds voters to “sign, date, and deliver” their ballot
PENNSYLVANIA-Common Cause Pennsylvania, the nonpartisan voting rights group, is reminding those with mail ballots to seal their ballot in the yellow secrecy envelope, sign and date the outer return envelope, and deliver their own ballot to a drop box or county election office by 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Polls are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To find their polling location, voters can visit abstimmen.pa.gov.
“We want to remind voters with mail ballots to sign, correctly date, and deliver their ballot at a drop box or county election office today,” sagte Philip Hensley-Robin, Common Case Pennsylvania Executive Director. “There is no time to waste to join the more than one million voters who have already made their voice heard in the 2024 election. If you lost your mail ballot or you mailed without signing or dating the outer envelope, you can still vote with a provisional ballot at your polling place on election day and make your voice heard in this election.”
Common Cause Pennsylvania co-leads the largest, nonpartisan Election Protection Coalition, a diverse group of organizations that recruits, trains, and mobilizes volunteers to assist all voters at the polls. The coalition also runs the toll-free nonpartisan hotline.
Voters who experience any challenges or have questions with any part of the voting process are encouraged to call or text the hotline to connect with experts who can help.
