In 2011 Common Cause Rhode Island looked at the record of the General Assembly in complying with the state's Open Meetings Act. This report demonstrates that over a decade after the watershed report, “Access Denied: Chaos, Confusion, and Closed Doors” much work remains to be done to ensure that the work of our legislature is completely transparent.
