In a gathering at the State Library today, legislators, Common Cause members and other community leaders kicked-off a proposed state constitutional amendment creating an independent redistricting commission to draw new legislative district lines after the 2020 Census.

Hoje, a Common Cause, a Verified Voting e o Brennan Center for Justice da NYU Law divulgaram um relatório sobre o programa piloto de Rhode Island para identificar os métodos mais eficazes para implementar as auditorias de limitação de risco (RLA) exigidas pelo estado para a eleição de 2020. As três organizações fizeram parte de um grupo de trabalho que ajudou o estado a projetar e executar os pilotos no início deste ano.
