State board says Matos has over 500 signatures

Common Cause Rhode Island, a nonpartisan organization that promotes representative democracy by ensuring open, ethical, accountable and effective government, said reform is needed. John Marion, executive director, issued a statement following the board’s decision.

“It is clear that changes to the process must be made,” he said.
