Will Robinson at Lisa Stanley of The New Media Firm created this tribute video about Common Cause’s late president, Bob Edgar, a Methodist minister and six-term member of Congress who also led the National Council of Churches before arriving at Common Cause in 2007. Bob died suddenly on April 23.

The tribute was shown last night to a packed house as Bob and Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) were honored with the Father Robert F. Drinan National Peace and Human Rights Award, presented by the Council for a Livable World PeacePac and the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation. Bob’s wife Merle accepted the award.
