Hindi pa rin lumagda si President-elect Donald Trump ng mga legal na dokumento – kabilang ang isang ethics pledge – na kailangan para pormal na simulan ang paglipat ng kapangyarihan ng kanyang administrasyon. John Marion, executive director of the government watchdog group Common Cause Rhode Island, said it was difficult to pinpoint exactly why Rhode Island had such a large overcount.
